About Bob and Roberta Smith OBE RA & The Big Draw
Bob and Roberta Smith considers art to be an important element of a democratic society, economy and life, and is a long-term campaigner for access to art and art education.
As supporters of The Big Draw will know, he has also been an outspoken advocate of art education in schools for more than a decade,and is a keen supporter of The Big Draw's work championing visual literacy and the universal language of drawing.
In 2013, he launched Art Party, a project to make contemporary art more accessible, including a conference attended by more than 2,000 people discussing art education in schools.
